When the sweetness of the strawberry marries the acidulated passion fruit, it gives a gourmet jam.
- 1.2 kg of ripe strawberries
- 5 passion fruits
- 900 g caster sugar
- 1 big lemon
The day before, plant and wash the strawberries and mix them. Remove the pulp and seeds from the passion fruit with a spoon.
In a bowl, alternate layers of fruit and sugar. Cover with a stretch film.
The same day, pour everything in a bowl of jam or a casserole, add the juice of lemon and mix well. Boil while stirring.
Pour the still hot jam into the jars and turn them over for 20 minutes.
Store your jars of jam in a dry place, away from light.
